I assume these ports are the ones associated with the chipset, the right-side ports had no problem having their drivers updated.Īs Vlad mentioned, on HP's site, there is no way to download the chipset drivers, nor the USB drivers themselves.
I have an HP dv6-6c13cl, and the USB ports on the left side havent worked since.well, its only recently that I needed to use another USB port, so I assume they havent worked since the OS was reinstalled sometime last year. Vlad, did you get your USB ports working? I don't know if the ones that aren't working are USB 3.0 or 2.0 as I don't know the difference. I might have made a mistake in my first post - there are two USB ports on the left side which are not working and one on te right side which is working. Then check DM to see what drivers are still required if any. When you get to the driver page for your laptop model install the "Chipset" driver first.
